Liverpool have assigned striker Loic Remy of Queens Park Rangers to the too hard basked after his transfer failed to materialise.
Liverpool’s loss may be Newcastle’s gain, with the Magpies now considering a loan move for Remy.
At Old Trafford, midfield player Marouane Fellaini’s controversial spell at Manchester United could be coming to an end with talks for a departure to Napoli underway, while another midfielder, Shinji Kagawa, may be on his way back to Borussia Dortmund, the club Man U purchased him from in 2012. Other players said to be currently under review include Anderson, Javier Hernandez and Nani.
Southampton are looking to address the mass exodus with potential reinforcements arriving in the form of midfielder Serge Gnabry and fullback Carl Jenkinson of Arsenal.
The red carpet might be getting a workout at White Hart Lane, as Tottenham are preparing to welcome defender Miguel Lopes on loan from Sporting Lisbon, and are showing interest in forward Jay Rodriguez and midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin of Tottenham.
West Ham have had a look at bringing in ex Chelsea striker Samuel Eto as cover, but are not too keen on his current asking price. They have now switched their attention to Carl Jenkinson, who Southampton are also interested in.
