Premier League Football – Week 26 Review

Premier League Football – Week 26 Review

Ten more games from the top division of England coming up this weekend. The league leaders, Chelsea are dominating at the top of the table and they are seven points clear of the second placed Manchester City.

Chelsea will play host to Burnley on Saturday and according to Bet365, Burnley’s chance of picking up all three points are 12/1. Mourinho’s men are expected to crush their opponents at the weekend and move a bit closer to winning the Premier League title. The English champions, Manchester City will feature in the late kick off on Saturday. Pellegrini’s men will go head to head with Newcastle at the Etihad and as expected the odds are stacked in favor of the Manchester giants. The Citizens are 1/4 to win the game while Newcastle are 10/1.

The 20-time English champions, Manchester United will face Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium. The odds favor the Red Devils as Gary Monk’s side are 11/4 to win the match at home, but we can’t be sure of the result as Van Gaal’s side is consistent at all.

The most interesting fixture of this game week will be played at the St. Mary’s Stadium as the Saints face Brendan Rodgers’ Liverpool. Liverpool are in great form and they are gunning for the Champions League spot alongside Tottenham and Arsenal. Southampton have currently occupied the fourth spot and they are not giving up on their dream to play in Europe. This clash could prove very vital in the race for top four. There are no clear favorites in this one as according to Bet365, Southampton are 8/5 to win, a draw is 23/10 and Liverpool are 13/8 to grab all three points.

Arsenal will travel to Crystal Palace at the weekend. The Gunners are 3/4 to win the game against the Eagles. Alan Pardew would be hoping to get one better of the North Londoners and his main aim till the end of this campaign would be to climb up to the top half of the table. On the other hand, Arsene Wenger’s team can take advantage of the clash at St. Mary’s this weekend and if the Saints slip, the Gunners can reach the top four.

Spurs vs West Ham also be a very interesting tie in this game week. Spurs have been in scintillating form, but they would want to bounce back from the loss against Liverpool. Their Champions League hopes can suffer a major blow if they lose to Sam Allardyce’s West Ham. Spurs are 7/10 to win the game on Sunday.
