Japan meet Colombia today at the 2014 World Cup, at the Arena Pantanal in Cuiaba.
Form
The two sides have met twice before, with Colombia winning 1-0, in the other game being a 0-0 draw.
Japan went down to Ivory Coast 2-1 in the first round, and drew 0-0 with Greece in the second round.
Colombia recorded a comfortable 3-0 win over Greece in their opening encounter, and defeated Ivory Coast 2-1 in their second match.
Injuries & Suspensions
No injuries or suspensions for either side, though having already qualified for the next round, Colombia’s captain Mario Yepes and winger Juan Cuadrado will be rested.
Prediction & Tip
Colombia have already qualified for the Round of 16, and have looked the best team of Group C. Japan have disappointed, and in theory are still a mathematical chance to progress should Greece defeat Ivory Coast in their game. We’re expecting an improved performance from the Japanese, and will take the 5/2 that Ladbrokes are offering for a draw.
